Yes, Butch's Beverage Catering is fully licensed and carries comprehensive liability insurance for weddings and corporate events in West Michigan.
Can we provide our own alcohol?
We provide full-service beverage catering to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with licensing and insurance requirements.
What happens to the alcohol at the end of the event?
All remaining alcohol goes home with the customer at the end of the event.
How does pricing work?
Pricing is based on guest count, event length, and bar selections. Mixers and set-ups are typically priced per person, while staffing, insurance, gratuity, and delivery are based on your specific event needs. Alcohol estimates are based on consumption, and our experience allows us to provide accurate recommendations so you’re not over-purchasing.
How much of a deposit is required?
A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date. Final bar selections are typically confirmed about 6 weeks prior to your event, with the remaining balance due approximately 3 weeks before the event.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept personal checks, cash, or money orders up until 2 weeks before your event. Within 2 weeks of the event, payment must be made by or cashier’s check.
Can we close the bar during dinner?
Yes, you can choose to close the bar during dinner. However, we recommend keeping it open for non-alcoholic beverages so guests have options during the meal. Please note that bartending fees still apply during any scheduled downtime.
Do you allow shots or pitchers of beer?
For liability and safety reasons, we do not serve shots or allow pitchers to leave the bar area.
Do you work with venues and other vendors?
Yes, we have strong relationships with many trusted venues and vendors throughout West Michigan and are happy to provide recommendations.
